I was introduced to Seema Krish fabrics last year through one of our fabric reps at the office and I’ve been obsessed ever since. They are fun and colorful embroidered or hand blocked fabrics designed by San Francisco based Seema Krish from Bombay India.
This is by fun bedroom sitting room is by Tom Scheerer. The long pillow on the settee is a Seema Krish fabric which is block printed and embroidered.
In this little sitting area, the same fabric is used on pillows and the roman shades: Seema Krish Worli, which is also an embroidered fabric.
Another stunning pillow what makes quite a statement in this blue and red bedroom. This is the Breach Candy fabric.
Do you see a little bit of shimmer metallic shining at you from that bench fabric? The answer is yes. This bench is covered with this incredible fabric Mahalaxmi is block printed, embroidered, and has a little bit of sparkle.
Here are some of the new fabrics that come out this Spring from her New York Collection that I found on her website. I can’t wait to see these in person!
A fun printed and embroidered chevron called Union Square.
Another great embroidered fabric in a geometric pattern called Manhattan and comes in 2 other colors.
This fun fabric called Chelsea comes in 3 different colors. This beige and a navy are my favorite.
Have any of you used these fabrics? I can’t wait to use some whenever I get the chance. The emroidered ones would be great as roman shades, drapery or pillows. There are other fabrics in the line that are plain with some sparkle in them that would be really fun as a chair or headboard fabric too. What do ya’ll think?
